FEDERAL RADIO COMMISSION GENERAL ACCOUNTING OFFICE To enable the Comptroller General of the United States to have printed at the Government Printing Office, 1,000 copies of an " Index to the Published Decisions of the Accounting Officers, with Statutes, Decisions, and Opinions cited therein (also cross references), 1894- 1929," fiscal years 1930 and 1931, $12,500 . GEORGE WASHINGTON BICENTENNIAL COMMISSION For carrying out the provisions of the public resolution entitled " Joint resolution authorizing an appropriation for the participa- tion of the United States in the preparation and completion of plans for the c omprehensive o bservance of that greatest of all histor ic events, the bicentennial of the birthday of George Washington," approved December 2, 1924 (43 Stat ., p . 671), and all other activities authorize d by the Act e ntitled "An A ct to enable the George Was h- ington Bicentennial Commission to carry out and give effect to cer- tain approve d plans," app roved Februar y 21, 1930 (46 Stat ., p . 7 1) , including personal services without reference to the Classification Act of 1923, as amended, and civil-ser vice regulatio ns, traveling expenses, furniture and equipment, supplies, printing and binding, rent of buildings in the District of Columbia, and all other expendi- tures authorized by the above Acts, fiscal year 1931, $362,075, to be available until expended, together with all balances remaining unex- pended from appropriations previously made for use of this commis- sion, for ea ch and every object of exp enditure conne cted with the cele brat ion notw iths tand ing the prov isio ns o f an y ot her Act rela ting to the expenditure of public moneys, upon vouchers approved by the chairman of the executive committee, or such person as may be desig- nated by him to approve vouchers : Provided, That n othing con- tained in this paragraph shall be construed to waive the submis- sion of accounts and vouchers to the General Accounting Office for audit .
