PROCLAMATIONS. 1930. 3031 By THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA A PROCLAMATION WHEREAS it appears that the designation and setting aside of the Fl~cala Game Refuge, area in the State of Florida hereinafter described, for the protection P~e8mble. of game animals and birds, will promote the public good: Now, THEREFORE, I, HERBERT HOOVER, President of the United 0!S~ Na;l~~81 ;~:~~ States of America, by virtue of the power in me vested by the act of Congress approved June 28, 1930 (Public Law No. 466, 71st Congress) Ante, p. 827. entitled" An act to authorize the creation of game sanctuaries or refuges within the Ocala National Forest in the State of Florida," do proclaim that there are hereby designated and set aside for the protection of game animals and birds, to be known as the Ocala National Game Refuge, all lands of the United States within the area in the Ocala National Forest, in the State of Florida, described as Description. follows: Beginning on the north line of section 24, township 14 south, range 24 e.ast, one-quarter mile east of the northwest corner of said section; thence east along the section lines approximately 12% miles to the northeast corner of section 24, township 14 south, range 26 east; thence south along the section lines approximately two miles to the intersection with the north boundary of the F. M. Arredondo grant; thence southwesterly, southeasterly, and northeasterly around the boundary of said grant to the intersection of the grant boundary line with the eastern boundary of section 25, township 15 south, range 26 east; thence southerly along the section lines approximately 3Yz miles to the northeast corner of section 13, township 16 south, range 26 east; thence west along the section lines approximately 9 Yz miles to the quarter section corner on the south boundary of section 9, township 16 south, range 25 east; thence north along the half-section line approximately 3}~ miles to the center of section 28, township 15 south, range 25 east; thence northwest to the north line of section 20, township 15 south, range 25 east, one-quarter mile west of the north- east corner thereof; thence north along the quarter-quarter lines approximately four miles to the south line of section 30, township 14 south, range 25 east, one-quarter mile west of the southeast corner of said section; thence west approximately H~ miles to a point one- quarter mile east of the southwest corner section 25, township 14 south, range 24 east; thence north approximately two miles to the place of beginning-all Tallahassee base and meridian. Warning is hereby given to all persons not to hunt, catch, trap, au1h~iiz~! :lt~~t un- willfully disturb, or kill any kind of game animal or game bird on any lands of the United States within the area described herein.
