Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the consent of Congress is hereby granted to the St ate of Il linois, t o constru ct, maintain, and operate a free highway bridge and approaches thereto across the Kankakee River, at a point suitable to the interests of navigation at Momence, Illinois, in township 31 north, . between sec- tion 24, range 13 east, and section 19, range 14 east, _third principal meridian, in accordance with the provisions of an Act entitled "An Act to regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters," approved March 23, 1906 .
