The contracting countries con- stitute themselves into a union for the protection of industrial prop- erty. The scope of the protection of industrial property mcludes pat- ents, utility models, industrial designs and models, trade-marks, commercial names and indica- tions of origin, or appellations of origin, as well as the repression of unfair competition.
