L'application de cette prescrip- tion ne prejudicie aucunement I'action judiciaire qui pourrait ~tre intentee au reclamant, du fait de pareilles indications frau- duleuses. 10. En cas de perte, de spolia- tion ou d'avarie d'un colis avec valeur declaree, l'Administration d'origine doit payer l'indemnite AI'ayant droit Ie plus Mt possible et, au plus tard, dans Ie delai d'un an A compter du lendemain du jour de la reclamation. Ce paiement a lieu pour Ie compte de l'Administration de destination, si elle est responsable et a ~te avisee regulierement. 11. Dans les cas mentionn~ au paragraphe prec~dent, l'Ad- minIstration du pays d'o~e peut toutefois differer exception- nellement Ie reglement de I'in- demnite au dela d'un an, lorsque, dans ce delai, Ie sort du colis n'a pu ~tre etabli ou la question de responsabilite ~tre tranchee. 12. If the sender or addressee of Re8ervation in C8180f . d false statement, etc. an msure parcell or the owner or his representative, knowingly makes, at any time, a fraudulent declaration of a value higher than the actual value of the contents, or if he knowingly furnishes false, forged, or fraudulent means of proof, the administration·respon- sible for the payment of indemnity reserves the right to decline such payment and not to repay the postage and fees or to pay such mdemnity as it deems equitable in the light of the means of proof furnished.
