1229 SEC . 8 . Effective July 1, 1935, the appropriation account on the "Recreation fund, books of the Government entitled " Recreation Fun d, Army " A rmy", abo lish ed . SEC. 9 . Effective July 1, 1935, (a) the Naval Pension Fund (7t982) Na val Pensi on F und is abolished, any unobligated balance therein, as of that date, shall abolished. be covered into the surplus fund of the Treasury, and inter est on such fund shall cease ; (b) moneys theretofore required by law to be paid into such fund shall be deposited into the Treasury of the United States as miscellaneous receipts ; and (c) commencing Annual appropria- with the fiscal year 1936 annual appropriations in such amounts as Lions authorized . may be necessary are authorized from the general fund of the Treasury for the maintenance, operation, and improvement of the Naval Home . The re is hereby authorized to be ap- pro priated from postal revenu es such sums a s may be nece ssary to make any expenditures which, but for its abolition, would be charge- able to this account .
