MARINE CORPS PAY, MARINE CORPS Pay of officers, active list : For pay and allowances prescribed by law for all officers on the active list-pay and allowance, $3,362,293, including not to exceed $141,306, for increased pay for making aerial flights ; subsistence allowance, $469,097 ; rental allowance, $605,197 ; in all, $4,436,587 ; and no part of such sum shall be available to pay active-duty pay and allowances to officers on the retired list ; For pay of officers prescribed by law on the retired list, $855,281 ; Pay of enlisted men, active list : For pay and allowances of non- commissioned officers, musicians, and privates, as prescribed by law, and for the expenses of clerks of the United States Marine Corps
