Stewart, late consul general at Barcelona, the sum of $9,000, such sum represent- ing one year's salary of her deceased husband, who died while at his post of duty. Approved, June 8, 1934. [CHAPTER 440.] AN ACT For making compensation to the estate of Nellie Lamson. lune 8, 1934. (H.R .7168.) (Private, No. 214.) Be it enacted by the Senate and H ffwse of Representatives of the United State8 of America in Oongre8s a88emhled, That the Secretary Nellie Lamson. of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, Payment to estate of. out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of $325, in full settlement of all claims against the Government of the United States, to Frank A. Lamson, as the administrator of the estate of NeIlie Lamson, of Lower Tonsina, Alaska, deceased, as compensation for the loss of nineteen foxes, the property of the said NeIlie Lamson, which were killed as a result of careless dynamite blasting on the homestead of the said Nellie Lamson by the employees of the Alaska Road Commission while engaged in public work for the Government on May 2, 1931: PrffVided, That no part Promo. of the amount appropriated in this Act in excess of 10 per centum L!mltatlon on attor- fh1b'dd'd . db neys, etc., fees. thereo s a I e pal or ehvere to or reCeive y any agent or agents~ attorney or attorneys, on account of services rendered in con- nection with said claim. Any person Penalty for violation. violating the provisions of this Act shall be deemed guilty of a mis- demeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Oongress a8sernbled, That the President B:t!:~OIld Pearson be, and he is hereby, authorized to appoint Richmond Pearson A~pointed a rear Hobson, formerly a captain of the United States Navy, a rear ~~a~n~e~~'U:t~d admiral in the Navy, with the rank, pay, and allowances thereof and upon his acceptance of such appointment and the issuance of the ?ommission in p~rsuanc~ thereof, he shall be retired. by the PreSident as from actIve serVICe and be placed upon the retired list in the grade of rear admiral, as of thirty years service, and with the pay of that grade.
