For groceries, provisions, light, fuel, soap, oil, lamps, candles, clothing, shoes, forage, horseshoeing, medicines, medical attendance, transportation, sewing machines, fixtures, books, magazines, and other supplies which represent greater educational advantages

Children's Hospital, $75 .000. Central Dispensary and Emergency Hospital, $65,000. Eastern Dispensary and C asualty Hospital, $40,000 . Washington Home for Incurables, $10,000. COLUMBIA HOSPITAL AND LYING-IN ASYLUM For general repairs, including labor and material, to be expended in the discretion and under the direction of the Architect of the Capitol, $5,000. TUBERCULOSIS HOSPITAL AND SANATORIUM For personal services, $141,500 . For provisions, fuel , forage, harness , and vehicles, a nd repairs to same, gas, ice, shoes, clothing, dry goods, tailoring, drugs and medical suppli es, furniture and bedding, kitchen utensils, medica l books, books of reference, and periodicals not to exceed $200, tempo- rary services not to exceed $1,000, maintenance of motor truck, and other necessary items, $92,000 . For repairs and improvements to buildings and grounds, includ- ing roads and sidewalks, $3,000 ; for furniture and equipment for the new sanatorium , includin g not to exceed $5, 000 for m otor- propelled trucks and passenger-carrying vehicles, $80,000 ; in all, $83 .000.
