of the Act entitled "An Act to create the White House Police Force, 46Vpol .3 , p. 841; Vol . and for other purposes ", approved September 14, 1922 (42 Stat. 841), as amended by section 2 of the Act entitled "An Act to author- ize a necessary increase in the White House Police Force ", approved May 14, 1930 (46 Stat. 328), is hereby further amended to read as follows Compensation, "SECT . 2 . (a) Tha t the White Hou se Police Force shall consist of grades, etc . one captain with grade corresponding to that of captain (Metropoli- tan Police), one lieutenant with grade corresponding to that of lieu- tenant (Metropolitan Police), three sergeants with grade correspond- ing to that of sergeant (Metropolitan Police) ; and of such number of privates, with grade corresponding to that of private of the highest Number .
