PROCLAMATIONS, 1934. 3417 WHEREAS on October 11, 1934, will occur the one hundred and 5fty-fifth anniversary of the death of General Pulaski, whose deeds remain an inspiration to all Americans and whose memory it is fitting ~o hold in all honor; and WHEREAS Public Resolution 24, Seventy-third Congress, ap- Vol. 48 , p. 784. proved May 18, 1934, provides, in part: "That the President of the United States is authorized to issue a proclamation calling upon officials of the Government to display the ~ag of the United States on all governmental buildings on October L1, 1934, and inviting the people of the United States to observe the iay in schools and churches, or other suitable places, with appro- )riate ceremonies of the death of General Casimir Pulaski."; NOW, THE~EFORE, I, FRAN~LIN D.
