Enlarging the Rocky Mountain National Park Colorado

A PROCLAMATION
March 5, 1936.
WHEREAS the act of June 21, 1930, eh. 561, 46 Stat. 791, author- N~ro~~f P!l:°'b~t~.in izes the President of the enited Stat('s, upon the recommendntion J, ~rf~ble'~1 of the Secretary of the Interior, and with respect to lands located in a 0., p. . national forest upon the joint recommendation of the Secretaries of the Interior and of Agriculture, to add to the Rocky Mountain National Park, in the State, of Colorado, by Executive proclamation, any or all of the lands described in the said act; and
WHEREAS the Secretary of the Interior has recommended the addition to the said park of certain of the lands described in the said act not within a national forest; and
WHEREAS it appears that the public interest would be promoted by including such lands within the said park for road purposes and administration as a part of the said park:
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT, Presi- ArllR(lDh.rged. dent of the United States of America, do proclaim that the lands hereinafter described shall be, and are hereb~, added to and included within the Rocky Mountain National Park, m the Stato of Colorado, and as part of the said park such lands dutll be, and are hereby, made subject to the provisions of the act entitled ,.
