[Public, No . 76] Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States o f America in Congress assembled, That the Attorney General is hereby authorized to settle, adjust, and compromise any and all outstanding claims, including that of the Royal Citrus Groves Company, adverse to the Government's title to Chapman Field, Florida, including all accretions, relictions, shoals, islands, tidelands, and underwater lands lying seaward of the fastlands included in the United States Public Land Survey of 1847, and to take such steps as he may deem necessary to remove all clouds upon the Government's title thereto, and there is hereby authorized to be appropriated the sum of $5,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, for such purpose . Approved, May 6, 1937 . [CHAPTER 17 9] JOINT RESOLUTION To provide emergent appropriations for certain Federal activities for the remainder of the fiscal year ending June 30, 1937 . Resolved by the Senate and House o f Representatives o f the United States o f America in Congress assembled, That the following sums are hereby appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to supply emergent appropriations for the continued functioning during the fiscal year ending June 30, 1937, of the follow- ing activities, respectively : SENATE To pay to Pearl D uke Bachman, widow o f Honorable Nathan L . Bachman, late a Senator from the State of Tennessee, $10,000 . FED ER AL TRADE COMMISSION Salaries and expenses : For an additional amount for five Com- miss ioners , and for al l othe r auth orized expend itures of th e Fede ral Trade Commission in performing the duties imposed by law or in pursuance of law, including the same objects specified under this head in the In depend ent Of fices Approp riatio n Act, 1937, $290,0 00 . Printing and binding : For an additional amount for all printing and binding for the Federal Trade Commission, fiscal year 1937, $7,500 . INTERSTATE COMMERCE COMMISSION Air mail : For an additional amount to enable the Interstate Com- merce Commission to perform the duties imposed upon it by the Act approved June 12, 1934, entitled "An Act to revise air-mail laws, and to establish a commission to make a report to the Congress recom- mending an aviation policy" (U . S .
