C ., title 19, sec . 1524) ; for the co st of seizur e, sto rage, and dis positi on of any merchandise, vehicle and team, automobile, boat, air or water craft, or any other conveyance seized under the provisions of the customs laws, for the purchase of arms, ammunition, and acces- sories , and $459,1 80 sha ll be availa ble for perso nal se rvices in th e District of Columbia exclusive of ten persons from the field force authorized to be detailed under section 525 of the Tariff Act of 1930 Provided, That no part of this appropriation shall be expended for mainten ance o r repa ir of motor- propel led pas senger -carry ing ve hicles for use in the District of Columbia except one for use in connec- tion with the work of the customhouse in Georgetown : Provided further, That section 3648 of the Revised Statutes (U . Refunds and drawbacks : For the refund or payment of customs collections or receipts, and for the payment of debentures or draw- backs, bounties, and allowances, as authorized by law, $16,000,000 . BUREAU OF THE BUDGET Salaries and expenses : Director, Assistant Director, and all other necessary expenses of the Bureau, including compensation of attor- neys and other employees in the District of Columbia ; contract stenographic reporting services, telegrams, telephone service, law books, books of reference, periodicals, stationery, furniture, office equipment, other supplies, traveling expenses, street car fares ; $187,000 . For printing and binding, $35,000 . OFFI CE OF TR EASU RER OF THE UNITED ST ATES Salaries : For treasurer of the United States, Assistant Treasurer, and for other personal services in the District of Columbia, $1,150,00 0 . For personal services in the District of Columbia, in redeeming Fede ral R eserv e and nat ional curr ency , $85 ,000, to be re imbur sed by the Federal Reserve and national banks . For costs of transportation and insurance of gold coin and gold certificates transferred to Federal Reserve banks and branches and to the Treasury in carrying out the provisions of the Gold Reserve Act of 1934, $4,000 .
