T REAS URY DEP ARTM ENT OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY Administrative expenses, Adjusted Compensation Payment Act : For an additional amount, fiscal years 1936 and 1937, for expenditure under the direction of the Secretary of the Treasury for carrying out of the provisions of the Adjusted Compensation Payment Act, 1936, in the District of Columbia and elsewhere, including the same objects specified under this head in the Supplemental Appropriation Act, fisca l yea r 193 6, $1 ,682, 000, to re main avail able until June 30, 1938, and the Secretary of the Treasury is authorized to advance, from time to time, to the Postmaster General, from this appropriation, such sums as are certified by the Postmaster General to be required for the expenses of the Post Office Department in connection with the handling of the bonds issued under the Adjusted Compensation Payment Act of 1936, and the Secretary of the Treasury shall reim- burse the Postmaster General, from this appropriation, for such postage and registry fees as may be required in connection with the transmittal of such bonds to the various Federal Reserve banks and to the Treasury Department, 'Washington, District of Columbia .
