For mops, brooms, buckets, disinfectants, removal of refuse, elec- trical supplies, books, and all other necessary and incidental ex- pense s not othe rwise prov ided for, $ 660 . For repairs and improvements to the United States Court of Ap- peals Building, including repair and maintenance of the mechanical equipment, and for labor and material and every item incident thereto, $4,500, of which $3,000 shall be immediately available for chan ging elect ric wiring in said b uilding fr om direct to alterna ting current, to be expended under the direction of the Architect of the Capitol . MISCELLANEOUS Support of convicts : For support, maintenance, and transportation of convicts transferred from District of Columbia ; expenses of shipping remains of deceased convicts to their homes in the United States, and expenses of interment of unclaimed remains of deceased convicts ; expenses incurred in identifying and pursuing escaped convicts and rewards for their recapture ; and discharge gratuities provided by law, $71,200. Writs of lunacy : For expenses attending the execution of writs de lunatico inquirendo and commitments thereunder in all cases of in- digent insane persons committed or sought to be committed to Saint Elizabeths Hospital by order of the executive authority of the Dis- tric t of Colum bia under the provis ions of ex isting law , and expe nses of commitments to the District Training School, $1,000 . Miscellaneous court expenses : For such miscellaneous expenses as may be au thorize d by th e Attor ney Gen eral fo r the D istrict Court of the United States for the District of Columbia and its officers, incl uding the furnishing and colle cting of e vidence wh ere the Un ited Stat es is or m ay be a pa rty in int erest, and including such expe nses other than for personal services as may be authorized by the Attorney General for the United States Court of Appeals, District of Columbia, $25,000 . Printing and binding : For printing and binding for the District Cour t of the U nited Stat es for the District of Columbi a, $3,000, and the United States Court of Appeals of the District of Columbia, $3,000, except records and briefs in cases in which the United States is a party ; in all, $6,000 .
