AMBASSADOR: With reference to my letter No. 10961/15, dated today, I have the honor to inform Your Excellency that the legislative formalities required for the ratification of the Agreement relative to the amount of $23,824.86, resulting from the disbursements made by the United States for the protection of Turkish interests in England, France, and certain other foreign countries during the period 1914-1918, having been completed only today, the payment of the first annuity which should have taken place on June 1, 1936, will be effected exceptionally this year, with a delay of a few days.
