Denning, Finance Department, the sum of $56.68, public funds for which he is accountable, and which were stolen from the office safe of his agent officer at One Hundred and Forty-fifth Company, Civilian Conservation Corps, Plymouth, Vermont, during the night of November 30-December 1, 1937. Hulse, Quarter- master Corps, the amount of $55.44 in full satisfaction of his claim against the United States for a like amount which was paid by him for advertising for and in the interests of the United States without the prior approval of the Secretary of War as required by Revised Statutes 3828 (44 U.
