MARINE CORPS PAY, MARINE CORPS Pay of officers, active list: The amount named under this head in the Navy Department and Naval Service Appropriation Act, fiscal year 1940, for increased pay for making aerial flights, is hereby increased by $21,000; For pay of officers prescribed by law on the retired list, $107,800; Pay of enlisted men, active list: For an additional amount for pay of enlisted men, active list, comprising the same objects specified under this head in the Navy Department and Naval Service Appropriation Act, fiscal year 1940, $2,128,948; For an additional amount for pay and allowances of the Marine Corps Reserve, $553,572; For an additional amount for mileage and actual and necessary expenses and per diem in lieu of subsistence as authorized by law to officers traveling under orders without troops, $31,680; In all, $2,822,000, and the money herein specifically appropriated for pay of the Marine Corps shall be disbursed and accounted for in accordance with existing law and shall constitute one fund.
