GOVERNMENT PRINTING OFFICE Salaries, Office of Superintendent of Documents: For an addi- tional amount for salaries, Office of Superintendent of Documents, fiscal year 1942, including the same objects specified under this head in the Legislative Branch Appropriation Act, 1942, $47,000. THE JUDICIARY UNITED STATES SUPREME COURT Salaries: For an additional amount for salaries, fiscal year 1942, including the same objects and subject to the same conditions speci- fied under this head in the Judiciary Appropriation Act, 1942, $5,400. EXECUTIVE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT EXECUTIVE MANSION AND GROUNDS Maintenance, Executive Mansion and Grounds: Any balance of the appropriation for maintenance, Executive Mansion and Grounds, fiscal year 1941, remaining unobligated on June 30, 1941, is hereby continued available for the same purposes until December 31, 1942. BUREAU OF THE BUDGET Salaries and expenses: For an additional amount for salaries and expenses, Bureau of the Budget, fiscal year 1942, including the objects specified under this head in the Independent Offices Appropriation Act, 1942, $70,000. Printing and binding: For an additional amount for printing and binding, Bureau of the Budget, for the fiscal years that follow: For 1941, $4,000; For 1942, $8,000. OFFICE OF GOVERNMENT REPORTS Salaries and expenses: For all necessary expenses to enable the Office of Government Reports to perform the functions prescribed by the Act entitled "An Act authorizing expenditures for the Office of Government Reports in the Executive Office of the President", approved June 9, 1941 (Public Law 107. Seventy-seventh Congress), including personal services in the District of Columbia and else- where; contract stenographic reporting service; law-books, books of reference, directories, periodicals; newspapers and press clippings; and purchase (not to exceed $750), operation and maintenance of passenger-carrying automobiles, fiscal year 1942, $1,075,000: Pro- vided, That no part of this appropriation shall be used for the pay- ment of compensation to any State director hereafter appointed unless such person is appointed by the President, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate.
