[CHAPTER 602] AN ACT To amend the Selective Training and Service Act of 1940 by providing for the extension of liability for military service and for the registration of the man- power of the Nation, and for other purposes. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That section 2 of the Selective Training and Service Act of 1940 (54 Stat. 885; U. S. C., title 50, App. sec . 302), as amended, be, and it hereby is, amended to read as follows: "SEC. 2.
