AN ACT For the relief of Dollie C. Pichette. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the United States Employees' Compensation Commission be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any funds heretofore or here- after appropriated for the payment of awards under the provisions of the Act entitled "An Act to provide compensation for employees of the United States suffering injuries while in the performance of their duties, and for other purposes", approved September 7, 1916, as amended, to Dollie C. Pichette, of Grand Ronde, Oregon, the sum of $30 per month from the date of enactment of this Act until her death, as compensation for the death of her husband, John B. Pichette, who was killed on March 21, 1937, while working in a sand pit in connec- tion with Indian Emergency Conservation Work project numbered 87 at the Warm SpringsIndian Agency, Warm Springs, Oregon. Approved, April 7, 1941. [CHAPTER 50 ] AN ACT For the relief of the Johnson Flying Service, Incorporated. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to the . olhnson Flying Service, Incorporated, of Missoula, Montana, the sum of $5,150 in full satisfaction of all its claims against the United States for the replacement value of its airplane which was destroyed on August 22, 1939, while being used to assist the Forest Service of the Department of Agriculture to control a forest fire in the Bitter- root National Forest: Provided, That no part of the amount appro- priated in this Act in excess of 10 per centum thereof shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding. Any person violating the provisions of this Act shall be deemed guilty of a mis- demeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000. Approved, April 10, 1941.
