The fixed fee to be paid the contractor as a result of any contract hereafter entered into under this appropriation shall not exceed 6 per centum of the estimated cost of the contract, exclusive of the fee, as determined by the Secretary of the Navy. INCREASE AND REPLACEMENT OF NAVAL VESSELS Armor, armament, and ammunition: The Secretary of the Navy is hereby authorized to enter into contracts, in addition to existing appropriations therefor, for tools, equipment, and facilities in and land for public and private plants for the manufacture or production of ordnance material, munitions, and armor, and for the protection of private plants, in an amount of $100,000,000, the total amount author- ized in this and prior Acts for such purposes being $595,000,000. REPAIR FACILITIES, NAVY Repair facilities, Navy: The Secretary of the Navy is hereby authorized to enter into contracts, in addition to existing appropria- tions, therefor, for repair facilities in the amount of $25,000,000.
