Reimbursement for salaries and other expenses of such detailed personnel shall be made to the Federal agency or the government of the District of Columbia, respectively, and any sums so reimbursed shall be credited to the appropriation or appropriations from which such salaries and expenses are payable and be available for all the purposes thereof. One-half of the foregoing amounts under "Capitol Police" shall be disbursed by the Secretary of the Senate and one-half by the Clerk of the House.
