AMBASSADOR: I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of Your Excellency's kind note 115, of this same date, in which you were good enough to express the manner in which the Government of the United States of America, through the Office of the Coordinator of Inter-American Affairs, is disposed to cooperate in the program of health and sanita- tion in Colombia explained in the memorandum submitted September 24 last to Your Excellency and to the Coordinator of Inter-American Affairs by the Ministry of Labor, Health, and Social Welfare. It is a pleasure for me to inform you that my Government accepts in their entirety the bases set forth in the said communication and that, consequently, the Minister of Labor, Health, and Social Welfare is prepared to conclude all the arrangements necessary with Brigadier General George C. Dunham, Director of the Health and Sanitation Division of the Office of the Coordinator of Inter-American Affairs. I beg Your Excellency to accept and transmit to your Government the gratitude of the Colombian Government for the important col- laboration offered in the development of the program of health and sanitation in the country.
