CONCURRENT RESOLUTIONS SECOND SESSION, SEVENTY-EIGHTH CONGRESS MUSTERING-OUT PAYMENTS TO MEMBERS OF ARMED FORCES Resolved by the Senate (the House of Representatives concurring), That the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed, in the enrollment of the bill (S. 1543) to provide for mustering-out payments to members of the armed forces, and for other purposes, to strike out the word "one" where it appears in the proviso in section 3 thereof and insert in lieu thereof the word "once". Passed January 27, 1944. "R EVENUE ACT OF 1948" Resolved by the Senate (the House of Representatives concurring), That there be printed eight thousand five hundred additional copies of Senate Report Numbered 627, current Congress, on the bill (H. R. 3687) entitled "Revenue Act of 1943", of which five thousand copies shall be for the use of the House document room, two thousand copies for the Senate document room, one thousand copies for the Senate Committee on Finance, and five hundred copies for the Committee on Ways and Means of the House of Representatives. Agreed to January 31, 1944. AMENDMENT OF INTERSTATE COMMERCE ACT Resolved by the Senate (the House of Representatives concurring), That, in accordance with paragraph 3 of section 2 of the Printing Act approved March 1, 1907, the Committee on Interstate Commerce of the Senate he, and is hereby, authorized and empowered to have printed for its use a consolidated edition of one thousand copies of the hearings held before said committee during the first session of the Seventy-eighth Congress on the bill (S. 942) to amend the Interstate Commerce Act, to provide for agreements between common carriers by railroad, between common carriers by pipe line, between common carriers by motor vehicle, between common carriers by water, and between freight forwarders, for the making and filing of rates, fares, charges, or classifications for transportation of passengers and property, and for other purposes.
