The American Ambassador to the Venezuelan Minister for Foreign Affairs No. 1777 EMBASSY OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA Caracas,June 28, 1944 EXCELLENCY: Authorized by my Government, I have the honor to confirm in this note, as a result of the conversations between Your Excellency and the undersigned and between the Minister of Health and Social Assist- ance and the Vice President of the Institute of Inter-American Affairs of the Office of the Coordinator of Inter-American Affairs in the United States of America, that it has been agreed between the Gov- ernments of the United States of America and of the United States of Venezuela to extend for a period of thirty months, counting from July 1 next, the cooperative program of health and sanitation which is actually being carried out by the Oficina Cooperativa Interamericana de Salud Piblica, in conformity with the stipulations of the notes 57 Stat. 1126. exchanged between Your Excellency and the undersigned on February 18, 1943.
