Res. 98] Printing of addi- tional copies of House committee hearings. 34 Stat. 1012 . 44U.B..0.i1 HIGHWAY-CONSTRUCTION PROGRAM Be it resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), That for the purposes only as specified in section 2 of the Federal-Aid Highway Act of 1944 (Public Law 521, Seventy-eighth Congress), it is hereby found as a fact that the war emergency has been relieved to an extent that will justify proceeding with the highway-construction program provided for by said Act, and for the purppses of said Act the first postwar fiscal year referred to therein shall be the fiscal year ending June 30, 1946. FINANCIAL PROBLEMS OF SMALL BUSINESS Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), That in accordance with paragraph 3 of section 2 of the Printing Act, approved March 1, 1907, the Select Committee To Conduct a Study and Investigation of the National Defense Program in Its Relation to Small Business in the United States, House of Repre- sentatives, be, and is hereby, authorized and empowered to have printed for its use five hundred additional copies of parts 1 and 2 of the hearings on financial problems of small business held before said committee during the current session. MISSOURI VALLEY AUTHORITY Resolved by the Senate (the House of Representatives concurring), That, in accordance with paragraph 3 of section 2 of the Printing Act, approved March 1, 1907, the Committee on Irrigation and Rec- lamation of the Senate be, and is hereby, authorized and empowered to have printed for its use nine thousand additional copies of the hearing held before said committee on S. 555, entitled "A bill to establish a Missouri Valley Authority". Agreed to October 10, 1945. JOINT MEETING Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), That the two Houses of Congress assemble in the Hall of the House of Representatives on Tuesday, October 23, 1945, at 12:30 o'clock postmeridian, for the purpose of receiving such communications as the President of the United States shall be pleased to make to them. UNIVERSAL MILITARY TRAINING Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), That in accordance with paragraph 3 of section 2 of the Printing Act approved March 1, 1907, the Select Committee on Postwar Military Policy of the House of Representatives be, and is hereby, authorized and empowered to have printed for its use two thousand additional copies of parts 1 and 2 of the hearings held before said committee during the current session, relative to universal military training.
