McNair, former mail contractor on route number one thousand one hundred and iitteen, from Bedford to lllashington, Pennsylvania, at the rate of eleven thousand five hundred and fifty dollars, from the time it shall be found the great western mail from Philadelphia to Vi/`hecling, Virginia, was put upon said route, until the same was restored to the original route via Baltimore and national road to 1Vheeling, under contract made with Stockton and Stokes on the third day of June, eighteen hundred and El'l1l`ly·SBV€l1, deducting therefrom the amount heretofore paid the said McNair, under his conditional and privileged bid of carrying passencrers.
