Bra il enacted, dw., That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is Appropriation hereby, authorized to cause to be paid to the vostry of Christ Church, 3** P Full '°*A¤d W:tsliir1gtt>n parish, in the city of Washington, the sum of two thousand um gmundollars, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the purpose of aiding in the erection of a substantial wall around the Proviso. burial ground of said parish : Provided, That the said vcstry shall execute a bond to the United States, to be approved by the Secretary of the Treasury, and deposited in his department, conditioned in the penalty of four thousand dollars, for the faithful application of the money, and execution of the work, and securing to the United States the four hundred sites reserved in said burial ground, for the interment of members of Congress, and others, connected with the General Government.
