H328- Be it enacted, dw., That Benjamin Freeland, of Indiana, be, and Maymunquish hereby is, authorized to relinquish to the United States, in such manner a certain tract of as the Commissioner of the General Land Office shall prescribe, the north- lead qndd 6m'" east, north-west, and south—west quarters of section number five, in town- ° H an ` ship number eleven, range number one, west, of the second principal basis meridian, in Terre Haute land district, in the state of Indiana; Provided, He shall show, to the satisfaction of the register and receiver Provisc. of that district, that the right of the said three quarter sections is in him at the time of making such relinquishment; and, thereupon, the said Freeland shall be permitted to enter three quarter sections of any land within the said land district, subject to purchase at private sale.
