Hardie, of the city of New York, be, and he is hereby, permitted, at any time before the first day of July, peymmcd to in the year one thousand eight hundred and thirty-two, to complete the ¢¤m1>l¢¤¤ pay-_ payment for the south-east quarter of section three, in township three, f‘;I$°3"“ of range five, east, in the district of land west of Pearl river, containing ,,,,,,,3,],., patentsone hundred and forty-six and sixty-two hundredths acres; and, also, for the south-west quarter of section three, in township three, of range five, east, in the same district, containing one hundred and forty-six and sixty-two hundredths acres; which two quarter sections of land were purchased in one thousand eight hundred and eighteen, at the price of two dollars per acre, each, and one-fourth of the price then paid, by Abram Lundy, under whom the said Hardie claims by several assignments, but the remaining three-fourths of the price are still unpaid; and that, upon said Hardie completing the payment for said two quarter sections of land at the General Land Olhce in Washington, at any time V before said first day of July, one thousand eight hundred and thirty-two, according to the terms offered by the first section of an act, approved thirty-first March, one thousand eight hundred and thirty, entitled "An Act of March act for the relief of the purchasers of public lands, and for the suppres- 3rx83°• °h·48• sion of fraudulent practices at the public sales of the lands of the United States," patents for the two quarter sections above described shall issue to him in the usual form: Provided, however, That nothing proviso_ herein contained shall be construed to affect the right of any other person or persons claiming under the original purchase of Abram Lundy.
