Be it enacted, Qc., That there be allowed and paid to Isabella Hill, To be allowed widow, and John Hill, Elizabeth Hill, and Samuel Hill, children and fxglagrglzllgllli minor heirs of Samuel Hill, late of the county of Monroe, and state of they were Illinois, deceased, or their legal representatives, out of any money in ejected. the treasury of the United States not otherwise appropriated, the sum of six hundred and forty dollars, the amount of consideration money paid by the said Samuel Hill to the United States in his life-time, for three hundred and twenty acres of land, purchased at the land office at Kaskaskia, in said state, from which said tract of land the said Isabella Hill, widow, and the said John Hill, Elizabeth Hill, and Samuel Hill, children and minor heirs of the said Samuel Hill, deceased, were ejected (the said Samuel Hill having died during the pendency of said suit) by the decision of the supreme court of the state of Illinois, at the December term of the said court, in the year eighteen hundred and twenty- nine, in favor of Jonathan Moore and others, heirs at law of George Lunceford, who claimed title under a confirmation and patent made to Nicholas Jarrot, by General Arthur St. Clair, then Governor of the Territory north-west of the Ohio river, on the twelfth day of February, sevémtegp lilpngllrled and nipzety-nine, d Th h ·d { b 5,,;,; money, nc. ~. n e zt uri er enace , att e said sum o money e hvgv 59 br; paidi paid to Isabella Hill, widow, as aforesaid, for herself, and as guardian °“ ‘S“‘b“°° • for the said minor heirs of the said Samuel Hill, deceased, to be accounted for and distributed among the said persons concerned, according to the laws of Illinois, in cases of the distribution of the personal property of such persons as die intestate in said state.
