Be it enacted, &·c., That the Secretary of War is hereby authorized T0 by pl¤¤¢·>d and required to place Nancy Williams, widow of David Williams, who °n P°"S'°° mu' was, during the war of the Revolution, one of the captors of Major Andre, on the roll of revolutionary pensioners, and pay to her two hundred dollars annually, during her life, to commence on the second day of August, one thousand eight hundred and thirty-one, at which date the said David Williams departed this life; the same to be paid as other pensions are paid. Be it enacted, <§·c., That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is Payment for hereby, authorized and required to cause to be paid to Edwin Bartlett, <ll¤l0m¤il¤ SEP late consul of the United States at Lima, in Peru, out of any money in vm"' the treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of nine thousand sixty- two dollars and nity cents, in full of all demands for the services of a diplomatic character rendered by the said Edwin Bartlett, in the interval between the death of Mr. Thornton, late charge d’afl`aires to Peru, on the twenty-fifth January, eighteen hundred and thirty-eight, and the recognition of his successor (Mr. Pickett) on the thirtieth January, eighteen hundred and forty.
