Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Elisabeth Andersen, of Wilmington, Delaware, the sum of $2,500, in full settlement of all her claims against the United States for personal injuries and property damage sustained by her when the automobile which she was driving was struck by a Civilian Conservation Corps truck on the Littleton Road, Morristown, New Jersey, on the night of July 25, 1937: Provided,That no part of the amount appropriated in this Act in excess of 10 per centum thereof shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Felix Frederickson, of Seattle, Washington, the sum of $5,000, in full satisfaction of his claims against the United States (1) for compensation for personal injuries sustained by him when he was struck by a United States mail truck at the intersection of Westlake Avenue and Virginia Street in Seattle, Washington, on January 4, 1944, and (2) for reimburse- ment of medical hospital, and other expenses incurred by him as a result of such injuries: Provided,That no part of the amount appro- priated in this Act in excess of 10 per centum thereof shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding.
