Net proceeds in Korean currency and accounts receivable derived from sales of certain property declared surplus to the Office of the Foreign Liquidation Com- missioner of the United States Department of State and heretofore furnished to the Korean economy are hereby transferred to the GovernEent of the Republic of Korea. ARTICL5 II The Governtent of the United States of America agrees to effect settlenent for all imports from Japan for the Korean economy delivered be- tween September 9, 1945, and the ef- fective date of this agreement, less the value of Korean exports shipped to Japan during such period.
