foreign country, or for or on behalf of any government or any person or persons purporting to act as a government within a foreign country, whether or not such government is recognized by the United States; "The term 'communication intelligence' means all procedures and methods used in the interception of communications and the obtaining of information from such communications by other than the intended recipients; "The term 'unauthorized person' means any person who, or agency which, is not authorized to receive information of the categories set forth in subsection (a) of this section, by the President, or by the head of a department or agency of the United States Government which is expressly designated by the President to engage in communication intelligence activities for the United States. "(c) Nothing in this section shall prohibit the furnishing, upon lawful demand, of information to any regularly constituted committee of the Senate or House of Representatives of the United States of America, or joint committee thereof.". (b) Section 872 of Title 18, United States Code, is amended (1} by inserting a comma immediately after the word "such" in such section; and (2) by striking out the comma immediately after the word "employment" in such section, so that such section will read as follows:

    • § 872. E x to r t i o n by officers or employees of the United States

"Whoever, being an officer, or employee of the United States or any department or agency thereof, or representing himself to be or assuming to act as such, under color or pretense of office or employment commits or attempts an act of extortion, shall be fined not more than $5,000 or imprisoned not more than three years, or both; but if the amount so extorted or demanded does not exceed $100, he shall be fined not more than $500 or imprisoned not more than one year, or both.". ' SEC. 25. The analysis of chapter 47 of Title 18, United States Code, immediately preceding section 1001 of such title, is amended by striking out, in item 1012 of such analysis, the words "United States Housing Authority" and in lieu thereof inserting "Public Housing Administration", so that sfuch item will read as follows: "1012. Public Housing Administration transactions.". SEC. 26. Section 1012 of Title 18, United States Code, is amended (1) by striking out in the catchline to such section, the words "United States Housing Authority " and in lieu thereof inserting "Public Housing Administration "; (2) by striking out, in the first paragraph of such section, the words "United States Housing Authority" and in lieu thereof inserting "Public Housing Administration"; and (3) by striking out the word "Authority", wherever it appears in such section, and in lieu thereof inserting "Administration", so that such section will read as follows:

    • § 1012. Public Housing Administration t r a n s a c t i o n s

'Whoever, with intent to defraud, makes any false entry in any book of the Public Housing Administration or makes any false report or statement to or for such Administration; or "Whoever receives any compensation, rebate, or reward, with intent to defraud such Administration or with intent unlawfully to defeat its purposes; or "Whoever induces or influences such Administration to purchase or acquire any property or to enter into any contract and willfully fails to disclose any interest which he has in such property or in the property to which such contract relates, or any special benefit which he expects to receive as a result of such contract—-
