Bellos shall be held and considered to have been lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence as of the date of the enactment of this Act, upon the payment of the required visa fee and head tax. Upon the granting of permanent residence to such alien as provided for in this Act, the Secretary of State shall instruct the proper quota officer to deduct one number from the number of displaced persons who shall be granted the status of permanent residence pursuant to section 4 of the Displaced Persons Act, as amended (62 Stat. 1011; 64 Stat. 219; 50 U.S.C. AN ACT October 22, 1961 [H. R. 2210]

For the relief of Hye Pah Kung.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, for the purposes of the immigration and naturalization laws, Hye Pah Kung shall be held and considered to have been lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence as of the date of the enactment of this Act, upon payment of the required visa fee and head tax. Upon the granting of permanent residence to such alien as provided for in this Act, the Secretary of State shall instruct the proper quotacontrol officer to deduct one number from the appropriate quota for the first year that such quota is available. AN ACT October 22, 1951 [H. R. 3221]

For the relief of Joji Ikeda, a minor.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, for the purposes of section 4(a) and 9 of the Immigration Act of 1924, as amended, and notwithstanding the provisions of section 13(c) of that Act, the minor child, Joji Ikeda, shall be held and considered the natural-born alien child of Technical Sergeant Albert A. Lund, United States Air Force, AF-19067211, and his wife, Dorothy M. Lund, citizens of the United States. Approved October 22, 1951.
