The Act of January 5, 1905 (ch. 23, 33 Stat. 599), as amended, is further amended as follows: (a) The first clause of section 3 is amended by deleting the word "armies" and inserting in lieu thereof the words "Armed Forces". (b) The fourth clause of section 3 is amended (1) by deleting the words "Army and Navy" wherever they appear therein and inserting in lieu thereof the words "Armed Forces", and (2) by deleting the words "and naval". (c) Section 6 is amended (1) by deleting immediately following the words "Secretary of" the word "War" and inserting in lieu thereof the word "Defense", and (2) by deleting the words "War Department" whenever they appear therein and inserting in lieu thereof the words "Department of Defense". SEC. 5. The third paragraph under the heading "WAR DEPARTMENT" of the Act of May 29, 1920 (ch. 214, 41 Stat. 659), is amended by deleting the words "War Department" and inserting in lieu thereof the words "Department of Defense". SEC. 6. The Act of April 24, 1912 (ch. 90, 37 Stat. 90), as amended, is hereby repealed. SEC. 7. For the purpose of this Act, employees of the American National Red Cross shall not be considered to be employees of the Federal Government of the United States. Approved July 17, 1953. AN ACT To amend the Act of May 19, 1947, so as to increase the percentage of certain trust funds held by the Shoshone and Arapaho Tribes of the Wind River Reservation which is to be distributed per capita to individual members of such tribes. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United /States of America in Congress assembled, That the first proviso in section 3 of the Act entitled "An Act to authorize the segregation and expenditure of trust funds held in joint ownership by the Shoshone and Arapaho Tribes of the Wind River Reservation", approved May 19, 1947, as amended, is amended by striking out "twothirds" wherever it appears therein and by inserting in lieu thereof "80 per centum". AN ACT To authorize the adoption of a report relating to seepage and drainage damages on the Illinois River, Illinois.
