Resolved by the Senate {the House of Representatives concurring)^ That the President of the United States be, and he is hereby, requested to return to the Senate the enrolled joint resolution (S. J. Res. 98) authorizing and directing the Secretary of the Interior to liquidate the Puerto Rico Reconstruction Administration; that on its return to the Senate, the action of the Speaker of the House and the President of the Senate in signing the said joint resolution be rescinded; and that the Secretary of the Senate be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to reenroll the same with the following amendment, namely: on page 4, line 23, of the Senate engrossed joint resolution strike out the word "exception" and in lieu thereof insert "except".
