AN ACT To authorize the sale of certain land in Alaska to Gilbert Henkens, Junior, star route, Mile 17*^, Anchorage, Alaska. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That Gilbert Henkens, Junior, star route, Mile IT^/^, Anchorage, Alaska, shall have the right to purchase under the Act of June 1, 1938, as amended (43 UTS. C, sec. 682a), lots 34 and 39, section 30, township 15 north, range 1 west, Seward meridian, Alaska, within one year after the approval of this Act. SEC. 2. That the conveyance shall be made upon the payment by said Gilbert Henkens, Junior, for the land at its fair market value of not less than $1.25 per acre, to be fixed by the Secretary of the Interior: Provided, That the conveyance hereby authorized shall not include any land covered by a valid existing right initiated under the public-land laws. CHAPTER 869

AN ACT For the relief of the estate of William Edward Wine. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the estate of William Edward Wine, formerly of Berryville, Virginia, is hereby relieved of all liability to the United States arising out of the affidavit of support signed by William Edward Wine on March 29, 1954, regarding two immigrants to the United States, Max Adolph William Kommer and his wife, Elfriede Kirsch Kommer, effective upon the acceptance by the administrator of the Bureau of Security and Consular Affairs in the Department of State of a satisfactory substitute assurance of support for such immigrants. CHAPTER 895 JOINT RESOLUTION For the relief of certain aliens.

Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled. That, for the purposes of the Immigration and Nationality Act, Myra Wishnetzky Dromi, Wong Ma Chee, Suye Uchida, Mrs. Takayo Uota, Lum Shee Seid, Koriku Kato, Mrs. Liu Cha Tsung Tsai (alias Mary L a u), Mrs. Doris Kelly, Sansho Yamagata, Kouko Mikami Yamagata, Uhachi, lino, Shima Saito lino, and Mrs. Tatsu Kakimoto shall be held to b© classifiable as nonquota returning residents under the provisions of section 101(a) (27)(B) of that Act.
