535 (2) all service as an officer of the Eegular Air Force, and of the Kegular Army; (3) all enlisted service; and (4) all non-regular service. (b) The names of retired commissioned officers of the Regular Air Force shall be carried on the Air Force Register. § 8682. Service c r e d i t: certain service a s a nurse, woman medical specialist, or civilian employee of Army Medical Department to be counted I n computing years of active service, there shall be credited for all purposes, except the determination of grade, rank, and right to promotion in the Regular Air Force, the following service, in addition to any other service that may be credited— (1) all active service performed in the Army Nurse Corps as it existed at any time before April 16, 1947; (2) all active service performed in the Navy Nurse Corps as it existed at any time before April 16, 1947; (3) all active service performed under an appointment under the Act of December 22, 1942, ch. 805 (56 Stat. 1072), or the Act of June 22, 1944, ch. 272 (58 Stat. 324); and (4) all active full-time service, except as a student or apprentice, with the Medical Department of the Army as a civilian employee— (A) in the dietetic or physical therapy categories, if the service was performed after April 6, 1917; or (B) in the occupational therapy category, if the service was performed before appointment in the Army Nurse Corps or the Women's Medical Specialist Corps, or before appointment in the Air Force with a view to designation as an A i r Force nurse or woman medical specialist. §8684.
Service credit: regular enlisted members; service as an officer to be counted as enlisted service An enlisted member of the Regular Air Force is entitled to count active service as an officer in the Air Force, and in the Army, as; enlisted service for all purposes. § 8685.
