The land to be conveyed to the United States of America by the State of California is all of that real property situated in the city of Alameda, county of Alameda, State of California, described as follows: Parcel 1: A portion of tract 39, according to the map entitled, "Map of Alameda Marsh Land, as partitioned among the owners thereof in the suit numbered 8923 and entitled, 'Pacific Improvement Company, plaintiff, against James A. Waymire, et al., defendants', Superior Court of Alameda County, State of California," filed July 30, 1900, in the office of the recorder of Alameda County and of record in map book 25, pages 74, 76, and 78, said portion being described as follows: Commencing at the northwesterly corner of certain parcel of land described in the deed to the United States of America, dated July 6, 1944, recorded July 21, 1944, in book 4499, page 401 of official records of Alameda County, thence along the westerly line and its southerly prolongation south 2 degrees 47 minutes 17 seconds west (recorded bearing, south 1 degree 40 minutes west) 1,505.42 feet to the northern boundary line of that certain 76.15 acre parcel of land described in declaration of taking, case numbered 30735, recorded December 21, 1951, in book 6618, page 339 of official records of Alameda County; thence along said northern boundary line north 87 degrees 12 minutes 43 seconds west (recorded bearing, north 88 degrees 20 minutes west) 537 feet to a line parallel with the said westerly line; thence along said parallel line north 2 degrees 47 minutes 17 seconds east, 1,497.80 feet to the southern boundary line of that certain parcel of land described in deed from Oakland Water Front Company to Central Pacific Kailway Company, dated March 7, 1904, and recorded March 9, 1904, in book 952, page 293 of official records of Alameda County; thence along last said boundary line south 88 degrees 01 minute 30 seconds east (recorded bearing, south 89 degrees 16 minutes east) 537.05 feet to the point of commencement. Excepting therefrom that certain 0.3004 ± of an acre parcel of land described in the deed to the United States of America recorded September 2, 1948, in book 5597, page 433 of official records of Alameda County.
