during the next preceding fiscal year from the sale of sealskins and other products, to remain available for expenditure during the current and next succeeding fiscal years. ADMINISTRATIVE PROVISIONS

Appropriations and funds available to the Fish and Wildlife Service shall be available for purchase of not to exceed ninety-six passenger motor vehicles for replacement only; purchase of not to exceed nine aircraft for replacement only; not to exceed $30,000 for payment, in the discretion of the Secretary, for information or evidence concerning violations of laws administered by the Fish and Wildlife Service; publication and distribution of bulletins as authorized by law (7 U.S.C. 417); rations or commutation of rations for officers and crews of vessels at rates not to exceed $3 per man per day; repair of damage to public roads within and adjacent to reservation areas caused by operations of the Fish and Wildlife Service; options for the purchase of land at not to exceed $1 for each option; facilities incident to such public recreational uses on conservation areas as are not inconsistent with their primary purposes; and the maintenance and improvement of aquaria, buildings, and other facilities under the jurisdiction of the Fish and Wildlife Service and to which the United States has title, and which are utilized pursuant to law in connection with management and investigation of fish and wildlife resources. For expenses necessary for the administration of Territories and for the departmental administration of the Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands, under the jurisdiction of the Department of the Interior, including expenses of the offices of the Governors of Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, American Samoa, as authorized by law (48 U.S.C. e/^s^t^aV.^iile-^^i secs. 61, 531, 1422, 1431a (c)); salaries of the Governor of the Virgin Stat. 1253. Islands, the Government Secretary, and the members of their innnediate staffs as authorized by law (^48 U.S.C. 1591); compensation and ^* ^**** ^°^* mileage of members of the legislatures in Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, American Samoa, and the Virgin Islands as authorized by law (48 U.S.C. secs. 87, 599, 1421d (e), 1431a (c), and 1572e); compensation ^^H \\%; l^^%i^\ and expenses of the judiciary in American Samoa as authorized by 391;* 45 Stat. 1253; law (48 U.S.C. 1431a (c)); grants to American Samoa, in addition * ^***- '*^*® to current local revenues, for support of governmental functions; and personal services, household equipment and furnishings, and utilities necessary in the operation of the houses of the Governors of Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, and American Samoa; $2,100,000: Provided, That the Territorial and local governments herein provided for are authorized to make purchases through the General Services Administration: Provided further, That appropriations available for the administration of Territories may be expended for the purchase, charter, maintenance, and operation of aircraft and surface vessels for official purposes and for commercial transportation purposes found by the Secretary to be necessary. TRUST TERRITORY OF THE PACIFIC ISLANDS

For expenses necessary for the Department of the Interior in administration of the Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands pursuant to the Trusteeship Agreement approved by joint resolution of July 22 USC 287 note. 18, 1947 (61 Stat. 397), and the Act of June 30, 1954 (68 Stat. 330), ^J^l u s e M S S
