Carl A. Willson.
AN ACT For the relief of Carl A. Willson. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled. That the Secretary of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Carl A. Willson, Hollywood, California, the sum of $216.62. The payment of such sum shall b ^ in full settlement of all claims of the said Carl A. Willson against the United States for regular pay, overtime pay, night differential pay, and annual leave, and for reimbursement for travel performed from Los Angeles, California, to Oakland, California, as an employee of the Department of the Army, Quartermaster Procurement Agency Headquarters, Oakland, California, during the year 1951: Provided, That no part of the amount appropriated in this Act shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding. AN ACT For the relief of Ernest C. St. Onge. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Ernest C. St. Onge, of Springfield, Massachusetts, the sum of $100. The payment of such sum shall be in full settlement of all claims of the said Ernest C. St. Onge against the United States arising from the fact that he was required to settle a claim for damages in the amount of $100, which claim arose from a collision on March 24, 1953, in which a private automobile was damaged by a United States Post Office Department truck being operated by him on official business: Provided, That no part of the amount appropriated in this Act in excess of 10 per centum thereof shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding. Any person violating the provisions of this Act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000. Approved August 8, 1958.
