Private Law 85-695 AN ACT For the relief of Tsuyako Ikeda.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That Tsuyako Ikeda, who lost United States citizenship under the provisions of section 401 (e) of the Nationality Act of 1940, may be naturalized by taking prior to one year after the effective date of this Act, before any court referred to in subsection (a) of section 310 of the Immigration and Nationality Act or before any diplomatic or consular officer of the United States abroad, the oaths prescribed by section 337 of the said Act. From and after naturalization under this Act, the said Tsuyako Ikeda shall have the same citizenship status as that which existed immediately prior to its loss. Approved August 26, 1958.

AN ACT YoT the relief of Peter A. Beklemishev, Michael Linden, and Serge Oulassuk.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Court of Claims be, and hereby is, given jurisdiction to hear and determine the claims of Peter A. Beklemishev, Michael Linden, and Serge Oulassuk, for services rendered the United States in defense of a suit brought by the Russian Volunteer Fleet in the Court of Claims to recover compensation for ships requisitioned by the United States during World War I, and to enter such decree or judgment against the United States as equity and justice shall require for the reasonable value of the services rendered by said former employees to the United States in such suit. SEC. 2. Suit upon such claims may be instituted at any time within six months after the date of enactment of this Act, notwithstanding the lapse of time, laches, or any statute of limitations. Proceedings for the determination of such claims and appeals from, and payment of, any judgment thereon shall be in the same manner as in the case of claims over which such court has jurisdiction under section 1491 of the Judicial Code as amended (28 U.S.C. 1491). AN ACT For the relief of Alphonse E. J a k u b a u s k a s.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Alphonse E. Jakubauskas, Pomona, California, the sum of $250. Such sum represents the amount for which the said Alphonse E. Jakubauskas was held liable on March 18, 1958, in the courts of the State of Connecticut.
