Private Law 85-508 AN ACT For the relief of Blanca G. Hidalgo,
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, for the purposes of the Immigration and Nationality Act, Blanca G. Hidalgo shall be held and considered to have been lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence as of the date of the enactment of this Act, upon payment of the required visa fee. Upon the granting of permanent residence to such alien as provided for in this Act, the Secretary of State shall instruct the proper quota-control officer to deduct one number from the appropriate quota for the first year that such quota is available. Private Law 85-509 AN ACT For the relief of Maria Garcia Aliaga.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Attorney General is authorized and directed to cancel any outstanding order and warrant of deportation, warrant of arrest, and bonds, which may have issued in the case of Maria Garcia Aliaga. From and after the date of the enactment of this Act, the said Maria Garcia Aliaga shall not again be subject to deportation by reason of the same facts upon which such deportation proceedings were commenced or any such warrants and order have issued. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, for the purposes of sections 101(a) (27)(A) and 205 of the Immigration and Nationality Act, the minor child, Hiroko Ozaki, shall be held and considered to be the natural-born alien child of Major and Mrs. Jack E. Smith, citizens of the United States. Approved August 6, 1958.
