PRIVATE LAW 86-484-SEPT. 14, 1960
Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the first section of the Act entitled "An Act for the relief of Ivan H. McCormack", approved August 23, 1935 (49 Stat. 2163), is amended by striking out ": Provided further, That the patent issued hereunder shall contain a reservation to the United States of the timber on the northeast quarter southwest quarter and the northwest quarter southeast quarter of said section 31, which timber shall remain subject to sale, and the proceeds thereof shall be credited to the 'Oregon and California landgrant fund' in accordance with the provisions of the Act of June 9, 1916 (39 Stat. L. 218)". SEC. 2. The Secretary of the Interior shall execute and deliver to Clarence A. Sapp and Pearl E. Sapp of Philomath, Oregon, an appropriate written instrument which will eifect with respect to the land conveyed under such Act the amendment made by the first section of this Act. For the relief of Borinquen Home Corporation.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary ^ borinquen Home of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay, out of any money °'^* in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Borinquen Home Corporation of San Juan, Puerto Eico, the sum of $19,204.14. The payment of such sum shall be in full satisfaction of all claims of such Corporation against the United States for compensation or work performed by such Corporation pursuant to an agreement entered into between the Corporation and the Tenth Naval District, Department of the Navy, for the construction of two storm sewers for the use of the San Patricio Naval Project: Provided, That no part of the amount appropriated in this Act in excess of 10 per centum thereof shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding. Any person violating the provisions of this Act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000. Approved September 14, 1960.
