OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE, WASHINGTON NATIONAL AIRPORT

For expenses incident to the care, operation, maintenance, improvement and protection of the Washington National Airport, including purchase of one passenger motor yehicle, for replacement only, for •pol' ce-type use which may exceed by $300 the general purchase ^rice limitation for the current fiscal year; purchase, cleaning, and repair of uniforms; and arms and ammunition; $3,230,000. OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE, DULLES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

For expenses incident to the care^ operation, maintenance, improvement and protection of the Dulles International Airport, including purchase of four passenger motor vehicles, of which three for policetype use may exceed by $300 each the general purchase price limitation for the current fiscal year; purchase, cleaning, and repair of uniforms; and arms and ammunition; $2,450,000. CONSTRUCTION, WASHINGTON NATIONAL AIRPORT

For necessary expenses for construction at Washington National Airport, including acquisition of land, $4,500,000, to remain available until expended. GENERAL PROVISION

During the current fiscal year applicable appropriations to the Federal Aviation Agency shall be available for the Federal Aviation Agency to conduct the activities specified in the Act of October 26, 1949, as amended (5 U.S.C. 596a), under determinations and regulations by the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Agency; maintenance and operation of aircraft; hire of passenger motor vehicles and aircraft; and ur. iforms, or allowances therefor, as authorized by the Act of September 1, 1954, as amended (5 U.S.C. 2131).

FEDERAL C O M M U N I C A T I O N S COMMISSION SALARIES AND EXPENSES

For necessary expenses in performing the duties of the Commission as authorized by law, including land and structures (not torexceed $23,000), special counsel fees, improvement and care of grounds and repairs to buildings (not to exceed $14,600), services as authorized by section 15 of the Act of August 2, 1946 (5 U.S.C. 55a), not to exceed $165,000 for expenses of travel, and purchase of not to exceed three passenger motor vehicles for replacement only, $13,085,000: Provided, That not to exceed $2,000,000 of this appropriation shall be available for a special ultra-high frequency television study and shall remain available until June 30, 1962.
