Private Law 87-42 A'N ACT For the relief of Modesita Pitarch-Martin Dauphinais.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Modesta PitarchUnited States of America in Congress assembled, That notwithstand- Martin Dauphinais. ing the provision of section 212(a)(3) of the Immigration and 66 Stat. 182. Nationality Act, Modesta Pitarch-Martin Dauphinais may be issued a 8 USC 1182. visa and admitted to the United States for permanent residence if she is found to be otherwise admissible under the provisions of such Act, under such conditions and controls which the Attorney General, after consultation with the Surgeon General of the United States Public Health Service, Department of Health, Education, and Welfare, may deem necessary to impose: Provided, That, unless the beneficiary is entitled to care under chapter 55, title 10, United States Code, a suit- pQ^J|*^ ^f^^[ ^^ able and proper bond or undertaking, approved by the Attorney seq. General, be deposited as prescribed by section 213 of the Immigration 8 USC 1183. and Nationality Act: Provided further, That this exemption shall apply only to a ground for exclusion of which the Department of State or the Department of Justice had knowledge prior to the enactment of this Act. Approved June 21, 1961. Private Law 87-43 AN ACT For the relief of Mary A. Combs. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That Mary A. Combs, Xenia, Ohio, is relieved of liability to pay to the United States the sum of $293.49, which represents the aggregate amount alleged to have been erroneously paid to her by the United States because of administrative error in granting her a longevity pay increase as a file clerk employed by the United States at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. I n the audit and settlement of the accounts of any certifying or disbursing officer of the United States, full credit shall be given for the amount for which liability is relieved by this section. SEC. 2. The Secretary of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Mary A. Combs, Xenia, Ohio, the amount certified to him by the Secretary of the Air Force as the aggregate amount paid to the United States by the said Mary A. Combs, or withheld by the United States from amounts due the said Mary A. Combs from the United States, on account of the liability referred to in the first section of this Act: Provided, Th&t no part of the amount appropriated in this section shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding. Any person violating the provisions of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000. Approved June 21, 1961.
